Alesya A. Pohomova Candidate of Sociology, Associate Professor Biography Publications

She was born in Mogilev in 1988.  She graduated with honours from the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences of BSU in 2011. She worked at the Department of Politology and Sociology of the Mogilev State A. Kuleshov University in 2011. She defended a Candidate's thesis at sociology “Volunteer activity of youth in Republic of Belarus (sociological aspect)” in 2014. She has been working at the Department of Sociology since 2012 as a lecturer, and as an associate professor since 2017. Sphere of scientific interests: volunteer movement in Belarus, motives of volunteer activity, new forms of volunteers work. She is giving courses: General Sociology, Sociology of tourism, Sociology of advertising.
